- Due to the influence of French settlers who took refuge here after a slave revolt in neighboring Jamaica, there are many buildings built in French style.
- Also interesting are the many bungalow-style houses that seem very American and modern and were built in the forties and fifties of the 20th century.

Around the building there is usually a garden with large lawn. - In the area around the Bay of Cienfuegos you will find many homes with two floors that offer tourist accommodation. Here always blows a refreshing breeze from the sea and from the terrace you have nice views.
- In the historic center colonial architecture abounds. Nice columns and stucco on the ceilings, doors and windows show the great past of the city of Cienfuegos.
