  • The quality of a casa particular Cienfuegos is often higher than in other cities of Cuba (Price for a double room: 20 - 35,00 CUC). This city has a long history full of economic wealth and so the architecture is varied and impressive.
  • Due to the influence of French settlers who took refuge here after a slave revolt in neighboring Jamaica, there are many buildings built in French style.
  • Also interesting are the many bungalow-style houses that seem very American and modern and were built in the forties and fifties of the 20th century.
    They provide spacious rooms with good ventilation. Around the building there is usually a garden with large lawn.
  • In the area around the Bay of Cienfuegos you will find many homes with two floors that offer tourist accommodation. Here always blows a refreshing breeze from the sea and from the terrace you have nice views.
  • In the historic center colonial architecture abounds. Nice columns and stucco on the ceilings, doors and windows show the great past of the city of Cienfuegos.
  • A hostel Cienfuegos on the Playa Rancho Luna beach is only suitable for people who are planning a little more extended stay or for tourists with a rental car.
    The distance to the city center is about 15 km.
    The beach is gorgeous, and you have here also numerous restaurants and bars, but nightlife is much better in Cienfuegos city.
