The fastest and most independent way to get to Puerto Padre is probably in your rental car. Puerto Padre is connected with Holguin (50 km) and Las Tunas (50 km) by roads.
Puerto Padre rental car station is located on the main street next to the "SERVICENTRO Puerto Padre" gas station (Servicupet).
Since there is no public transport to the beaches of Puerto Padre (distance between 10 and 30 km), a rental car is the only alternative to a taxi.
